Yayoi Kusama's work is so interesting. She has a great aesthetic view of our world and of our environnment. In a sublte movement, she mixes Pop Art, surrealism and expressionism.

She combines this exaggerated manga feeling with a kind of seriousness that we can find only in Japaneses artists (such as Murakami).

In 2006, she was the first Japanese woman to receive the Praemium Imperiale (great prize dealing with her influence in the world).

And, of course, she inspired some designers...!
